CATHOLIC BLUES

The two eminent classical saxophonist Marco Falaschi and Roberto Frati played alongside the two jazz saxophonists Steve Lacy and Steve Potts during the Festival ‘Toscana delle Culture’ in 1995. The concert has become legend. In its centre was the Blues Catolico where serial composition methods are bind into the heavy tonality of a blues in order to give ‘catholic’ the meaning of ‘all encompassing’.
