Steel Wind
Steel wind is a musical-experiment: new, original and absolutely unique in its way.
The Saxophone-quintet founded by Roberto Frati (professor for Saxophone at the Conservatory Cherubini of Florence), expresses the passion for classic music and progressive rock. The members of the group are all concert artists, winners of various international awards and competitions and members of important orchestras such as the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino or the RAI-Symphony Orchestra.
The music of Steel Wind - extremely successful in the concerts venue - is rigorously acoustic and does not seek to emulate the rock-sounds, but tries through an 'academic' revisited version, to share the full charge and energy of rock.
